Mini-Painting Ornaments are coming again in 2023

During fall/winter holiday season of 2022, I created small batches of mini-paintings, each no bigger than 3x4 inches, as an option for original artwork available for gifts for the holidays. The mini-paintings could be either displayed on a mini easel, or hung on a tree, or hung on a wall. After posting a simple photo of the paintings hanging from a Christmas tree to promote their sale at an upcoming in-person holiday art show, inquiries came from across the country if these paintings could also be sold and shipped elsewhere. These mini oil paintings were also still very fresh from under the paintbrush!

There wasn’t even time to load the mini-paintings into my website. After posting a photo of the mini-paintings to social media (Facebook & Instagram), buyers could claim a painting by posting in the comments which one they wanted (B4, C9, E12). This turned into essentially a very fast-moving game of Bingo or Battleship! It was a lot of fun, and many mini-paintings found their homes that day, almost selling out!

After this, I decided that I’d plan to do this mini-painting/ornament sale again, but this time with a bit more organization and advance planning. Some of that includes creating the paintings earlier in the season, so they are more thoroughly dry for holiday shipping. For 2023, there will be more mini-paintings available than last year, and I’m taking advance nominations as to which existing Rachel Brask painting designs folks would like to see & buy as mini-paintings.

To nominate a painting design, browse through the Portfolio website page, then screenshot the one(s) you want to nominate, and send those screenshots via DM/Messenger/text/email. It’s not guaranteed that all nominated designs will become mini-paintings, but it will give a consensus and folks’ input is important to this process.

The official Mini-Painting Ornament Online LIVE SALE will commence on Veterans Day weekend!
