Rachel Brask speaks with The Artist Loop on processing grief through artmaking

Rachel Brask gathered to connect with those of The Artist’s Loop to talk about how she processed grief through her artmaking. The gathering was small but robust, as Rachel shared her heart and the vulnerability of expressing the journey of how her artwork helped her healing journey through different phases of feelings that accompany mourning and grief of loss. Brask shared about how the process began with making artwork, then writing about it, then being open enough to exhibit and share this vulnerable work, through to how she was encouraged to publish a book about it, and finally through how these paintings have begun a second life of helping others heal their grief through inspiring beauty in their new homes.

A very special thanks to Pnina Pressberger & The Artists’s Loop, and friends of the Wanskuck Public Library
