Rain at Water’s Edges

September 2024 Exhibit at Studio 410, SoWa Boston, Oil Paintings by Rachel Brask

For the months of September and October Rachel Brask has curated her studio/gallery space in Studio 410 to feature her oil paintings of rainy days that features elements of water, other than rain. The “Rain at Water’s Edges” includes paintings of abstracted landscapes by oceans, beaches, marshes, rivers, waterfalls, and lakes and ponds and reflections.

After looking through many of her paintings, Brask noticed that much of her paintings were inspired by elements of bodies of water. “I attribute it to the elements of rain running back into these bodies of water, and becoming part of the next shift in that water molecule’s existence.”

The exhibit will be up through the September and October 2024. The exhibit can be visited during open gallery hours (select Sundays 11am-4pm, First Fridays 5-9pm, and by appointment via phone, text or email).
