About Rains of Truro Collection

This collection of paintings were painted during an art residency at Edgewood Farm, in Truro, MA (on Cape Cod). I went to many locations around Truro, Provincetown, Wellfleet, and either painted plein air what landscapes I saw, or snapped photos that I then used as reference images for the starting landscape compositions which I then transformed into pointilist paintings turned into rain drip paintings, obscuring and blurring colors and shapes. Prominent among this collection are sunsets and coastal compositions, as those really inspired me the most during my residency.
