Rachel Brask Live-Painting at HeARTspot June 17 (12-4pm)
Rachel Brask will be painting live from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at HeARTspot Art Center & Gallery. Brask is one of seven artists featured in the current group exhibition called “Bold Brushstrokes,” a show of seven abstract artists of seven distinct abstract styles. HeARTspot Art Center & Gallery is located at 1970 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI, free parking. To see the show, stop by during open gallery hours (Saturdays 1-4pm) or make an appointment to see the show.
The artists are: Shawndavid Berry, Rachel Brask, Michele Boyd, Theresa Girard, Camille Gregorian, Michael O'Donnell, and Molly Sexton.

Slightly new direction for Rachel Brask abstract rain paintings to debut in group abstract show called “Bold Brushstrokes” at Heartspot Art Gallery end of May through June 2023. These paintings reveal “slices” of the paintings where Brask has left the pointilism dots of her process intact and “un-rained,” revealing the drastic changes in texture from the process.

Recent Event: Earth Day Yoga in the Gallery
Recently the artwork of Rachel Brask’s rainy days at Churchwood Gallery provided the backdrop for a yoga class with Anna Aresi on Earth Day. We are grateful for all who came out to participate in this program celebrating the renewal of spring, water, rain, and new seasons with slow movement, stretching, and intentional breathing in a calm, colorful gallery art setting.

Gallery Extends Rachel Brask Solo Show
The Churchwood Gallery at Preservation Framer has extended Rachel Brask’s solo show of “The Skies Cried as My Fathers Died” until April 30, 2023. The exhibit was original set to close on March 30, 2023, so the extra month now gives folks more opportunities to see the show. Gallery hours Mon-Sat, 10am-6pm. Make an appointment with the artist if you’d like a personal artist tour of the exhibit.

This virtual tour incorporates brief video snippets of the artist’s intent behind each painting, a walkthrough of the gallery, am interactive 360 panoramic view of the gallery, photos from the reception and installation, and video recording of the artist’s brief talk at the opening reception.
