Rachel Brask Live-Painting at HeARTspot June 17 (12-4pm)

Rachel Brask will be painting live from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at HeARTspot Art Center & Gallery. Brask is one of seven artists featured in the current group exhibition called “Bold Brushstrokes,” a show of seven abstract artists of seven distinct abstract styles. HeARTspot Art Center & Gallery is located at 1970 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI, free parking. To see the show, stop by during open gallery hours (Saturdays 1-4pm) or make an appointment to see the show.

The artists are: Shawndavid Berry, Rachel Brask, Michele Boyd, Theresa Girard, Camille Gregorian, Michael O'Donnell, and Molly Sexton.

Revealed Rain new direction of Brask paintings to be revealed in Bold Brushstrokes group exhibit

Slightly new direction for Rachel Brask abstract rain paintings to debut in group abstract show called “Bold Brushstrokes” at Heartspot Art Gallery end of May through June 2023. These paintings reveal “slices” of the paintings where Brask has left the pointilism dots of her process intact and “un-rained,” revealing the drastic changes in texture from the process.

The Churchwood Gallery at Preservation Framer has extended Rachel Brask’s solo show of “The Skies Cried as My Fathers Died” until April 30, 2023. The exhibit was original set to close on March 30, 2023, so the extra month now gives folks more opportunities to see the show. Gallery hours Mon-Sat, 10am-6pm.
