Recent Event: Earth Day Yoga in the Gallery
Recently the artwork of Rachel Brask’s rainy days at Churchwood Gallery provided the backdrop for a yoga class with Anna Aresi on Earth Day. We are grateful for all who came out to participate in this program celebrating the renewal of spring, water, rain, and new seasons with slow movement, stretching, and intentional breathing in a calm, colorful gallery art setting.
Rachel Brask selected for “Once Upon Water” ArtResidency
Rachel Brask accepted as one of 14 international artists to gather May 2023 in Toronto Island, Ontario, for the Once Upon Water residency of artists whose work delves deep into the topic of water from all angles.
Gallery Extends Rachel Brask Solo Show
The Churchwood Gallery at Preservation Framer has extended Rachel Brask’s solo show of “The Skies Cried as My Fathers Died” until April 30, 2023. The exhibit was original set to close on March 30, 2023, so the extra month now gives folks more opportunities to see the show. Gallery hours Mon-Sat, 10am-6pm. Make an appointment with the artist if you’d like a personal artist tour of the exhibit.
Virtual Tour of ‘Skies Cried as my Fathers Died’ Now Available
This virtual tour incorporates brief video snippets of the artist’s intent behind each painting, a walkthrough of the gallery, am interactive 360 panoramic view of the gallery, photos from the reception and installation, and video recording of the artist’s brief talk at the opening reception.
